It is very important to start training & socializing your pups as soon as possible. Socializing & training away from your home environment helps build confidence. It is important that your pup does not become "fearfull of the unknown". This may happen if your pup is not socialized properly, so please make sure your pup is getting out into the world so he can learn that there is nothing to fear! A properly trained & socialized dog makes a better family member!

Here is the International Therapy Dog website http://tdi-dog.org/whatdo.html

German Shepherds are very versatile and love to learn new things. A bored dog can get very destructive and develope behavioral problems. Winter is a long season, so be sure to join a training class or try something new, your dog will love you for it!
